The Quarters Forresters Beach

The room itself was very lovely: quiet, spacious, comfortable beds. There was plenty of parking. I found the service just not quite what I would expect for having paid what we did. No towels on arrival and no answer to phone call to reception. They were happily provided and reasonably promptly. There was no room clean and so the used crockery (cups) was not replenished. Again requested that - again happily provided but with dinner plates (?!) and no tea cups. Back to reception to sort that. On our last night we arrived back to find that the absence of a room replenish that day also meant we had no toilet paper. And of course reception is closed and I dare not ring the after hours number as it is $50 if not deemed an emergency. It is lucky I have an “emergency” toilet roll in the car. All in all, I felt like a squeaky wheel asking several times for things that I would have thought would be anticipated and provided with thought and care, especially for the price paid. The care factor just wasn’t there.
